CURATORIAL STATEMENT

Emerging talents are going to shape our future. But who are they? How can I collab with them? In Armature, one of our mission is to help new talents bright, so for this issue we decided to present you 2 fashion design students, Gretna and Bernardita. Each one of them received a paper with some questions, and wrote their answers with a pen. We took some polaroids of them, and styled the artists with the object that they frequently use, in this case for Gretna were headphones, and for Bernardita, rings. They got the chance to decorate their own images with the materials and colors of their choice, and write whatever it comes to their minds. By only looking at their handwriting and the way each one decorated their pictures, you can distinguish their special personality. And that's exactly what Armature is looking for. Making every artist bright by who they are and not what others say.
